Chile and CP United got two victories after play twice. Both are top teams in each group and the main favorites to play the final, Sunday 12.30pm. But Ireland and Finland could provoke a double or triple tie in each group if they won tomorrow.
CP United 6 - 0 Austria
Any chance for Austria against CP United, who has made his homework to be in the final of the competition. The British were the owners of the game, moving the ball from one side to another, playing great team football. Austria tried to took advantage from some counterattack, specially at the beginning of the match, but CP United were waiting for it.
Finally the team coached by Sean Bailey got an important victory with two more goals from John Foster, who is the highest goal scorer of the competition with 5 goals in two games.
Jordan 1 - 5 Ireland
After a quiet first part, in which only Ryan Nolan would be able to make a goal, Ireland proved their powerful against Jordan. The Asian Team reduced the difference in the scoreboard with a goal from Mohammad Diabat, but the Irish were superior all the match.
Ryan Nolan completed an excellent game with a hat trick, and Ireland finish the game with the youngest players of their roster. Tomorrow the Irish will have an opportunity to arrive to the final if they win against CP United, provoking a double or triple tie (double if Jordan defeats Austria, or triple between CP United, Ireland and Austria if the Austrians win).
Italy 2 - 4 Chile
The South American National Team started with full of power, scoring the first goal only after two minutes played. They moved faster than they opponents in the field, scoring two more goals in 15 minutes. But never it's easy when you face off Italy. The blues could reduce the difference before the break with goal by Brocca.
Italy never gave up and Umberto reduce the difference again (2-3), putting Chile in trouble. But when Italy was fighting to get draw, Felipe Gutiérrez made his second goal to finish an amazing match.
Finland 2 - 3 Catalonia
Catalonia won their first game, tonight against Finland. Aketza Requena, one of the youngest Catalan players, only needed two minutes to made a goal. Playing different styles, Catalonia had more opportunities, but Finland tie the game. Catalonia wanted to arrive to the half time with an advantage and they got it with a goal from Pol Aguilar from the penalty spot.
After the break Josep Palmarola scored another goal with Catalonia controlling the tempo of the match. But Finland didn't give up and 2 minutes before the end of the game Mikael Jukarainen put a bit of emotion with a goal (2-3). Tomorrow Catalonia will play against Italy for the second place of the group.
